It's unclear from the original message whether the user's trying to
actually use the switchable graphics at all, or if he's simply
mentioning that the Intel graphics don't work at all and he has to use
the NVIDIA adapter with the proprietary driver.

There seems to be a bug currently when using the proprietary driver,
which is why I recommended booting with SELinux in permissive mode (not
disabled):

This is not entirely true, Dave Airlie has been working on support for a
while and there's some support in X plus a userspace library now. But
again, I don't think this thread is actually about the switchable
graphics per se.
