The difference is, Twitter has millions (billions?) of users, most of
whom are non-technical and explicitly don't want to know what went wrong
with *Twitter's* servers. Most desktop Linux (not Android, etc.) users I
know are more technical and would at least like some information about
what went wrong with *their* own computer.
