I believe the Wayland test cases were deleted because there wasn't enough time to prepare them properly. Also I believe that a test day focused solely on Wayland would be a much better idea. It is a big change in the Linux distribution stack and it deserves more preparation and attention than just having it as a small part of a graphics driver test day.
