What doesn't work for you?

I am having severe issues with both nvidia's drivers on both fc17 and 
fc18 in combination with Xfce:

Seemingly, this issue is known for many months, but apparently the Xfce 
and the xorg-x11-server guys doen't seem to be able to find an agreement 
to fix this issue.

Also there is another ooen issue related to F18's dracut and modprobe 
open unfixed in current F18.

... before somebody mentions nouveau: I gave it a try - It doesn't work 
reliably on my HW (abrt dump in BZ).
