option to install extlinux to a partition???

my uneducated suggestion is to install F18 and fedup to F19. If you
are prevented from doing so (early years' experience, say from
2002ish), install Ubuntu first then install F18 and fedup to F19.

Perhaps someone else has a better suggestion.
