has anyone added a brother MFC7460DN printer to their rawhide system?

eh, sort of ... i can now print, but i'm trying to set some of the
default options for the printer via localhost:631, and am constantly
getting "Unable to set options: forbidden", while
$ systemctl status cups
... Returning HTTP Forbidden for CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer
other than that, deleting the "dpkg" command i had installed on my
rawhide system fixed the oddity in that script. i'm not crazy about
the glitches in trying to print duplex and 4 page images to a side,
the alignment seems off, but i'd like to resolve this "Forbidden"
admin issue before i go any further.
p.s. i'm starting to miss my old samsung printer, which just flat out
*worked* right out of the box, duplex printing and everything. le
