Hey everybody,

I'm sending this email for all team members and writers of
Transifex[1] to let you
guys know about two things:

- We are on String Freeze; \o/
- We have a test instance of the 1.0 version that we would like you to
play with.

The String Freeze starts *today* and will finish next Monday (11/10). It means
that you guys have almost one week to translate the 1.0 into your languages
before the Final release, which is going to happen on Tuesday (12/10). I really
hope we it's enough time to get dozens on languages done. :)

Also, we have setup Transifex-1.0RC2 in our test server[2] and we are
going use it
to translate Transifex itself this week. We have cloned your data from
the production
instance and, unless you've changed your password recently, you should just be
able to login.

If you are not aware of the 1.0 changes, you should! Please refer to
this[3] and this[4].
For what it's worth, the last link is still a draft that has been
updated gradually and
will continue to receive stuff until the final release.

If you have doubts and maybe suggestions of enhancements, just drop by
#transifex
on freenode.net. We have a big time frame of people awake there that
could help out. :)

Bugs around the test instance can rather be reported directly in our
ticket system[5].

For now we have set the
http://www.transifex.net/projects/p/transifex/c/default/ to do not
accept submissions. We will return to the production instance once
Transifex 1.0 is out
and the server is updated to that version.

***

We are doing it to be able to test more our new codebase and the CLI
(transifex-client),
in order to get more feedback from the community (you :)), testing the
new workflow and
its load, and also avoiding eventual slipping of bugfixes in the final version.

We are looking forward to listen to your opinions and see the number
of languages
reaching 100% increasing! :)
