cvs access problem

How can I bring it there?
I tried:

rm -rf translate/printconf
cvs -z6 co translate
cp /my/home/printconf_uk.po translate/printconf/uk.po
cvs -z6 up translate/printconf
cd translate/printconf
cvs add uk.po
cvs commit

And I've got the same error message!
Did I do something wrong?
