I'm confused: why are there two status pages?

Dimitris is installing transifex, a system for commiting translations
using a web interface, so we translators don't have to manage
different version control systems. But unfortunatel it is not ready,
and for those systems where translators can't get access, you have to
send the po file as a patch/bug to the project. Take a look at:

http://translate.fedoraproject.org/module/

Personally, I'm dissapointed that developers are moving translations
from i18n to other hosts, because if we don't have commit access on
the new host, then we must rely on developers to commit translations,
and from my past experience translations remain on bugzillas/patch
trackers for months without being commited. I've sent a patch with the
Catalan yum translation and it's not been commited yet.

Anyway, why the move from i18n to other hosts wasn't scheduled after
implementing transifex and after translation freeze, i,.e. post fc8?

Regards!
