I can't speak for the whole team, obviously. :-) But I think that the
Beta relnotes are a worthwhile goal.  We need that milestone to make
sure that developers are getting content in.  If we wait until the
Beta -> GA phase to ask for them, the problem will get worse and not
better.  Rather, we ought to do a better job of observing the schedule
that we passed earlier in the cycle, and communicating within the Docs
team if we're running a risk of not hitting something, so that many
people can participate where needed.  Last night we proved we have the
ability to make things happen quickly, it's just better not to have to
do it! :-)

It looks like we will have POT coming out by 2010-03-19 UTC 0300.  At
last night's session, I believe the Docs team committed to keeping POT
more regularly up to date, and getting RPMs into the updates stream
for F13 so that they can see their work as it progresses.  I'll be
helping wherever I can as well.
