I am having some 'new' problems with camstream.
When I start the application it does not display anything, and makes my system
unresponsive.
The hard-drive starts to do a lot of things.
As a result of this, I am unable to reproduce the problem.

The programs 'cheese', 'vlc' and 'camorama' display the webcam nicely.
