The above symbol is available in libX11 package in f12 but not in f11. you may
have another version of libX11 in /usr/local or you may failed to update the
packages. Please make sure if you have the latest package of libX11 and no
another version locally.
Ideally if there are any specific requirements to get it working, the package
should have dependencies with the certain package version though, as per
comment#3, f12 is going to be EOL soon, the issue should be gone with the
latest packages, closing this now.
