I was under impression that nss_ldap is deprecated and one should use SSSD
instead. Even nss-pam-ldapd would be better alternative than nss_ldap, though
it might not necessarily help in this particular case.

But it is very surprising to hear ipa-client-install not using SSSD. I filed
bug 645506 about that.
