--- Comment #86 from Need Real Name <mal at gromco.com> 2011-12-18 12:03:16 EST ---
diag:
/sbin/new-kernel-pkg -v --mkinitrd --dracut --depmod --update
3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64

initrdfile is /boot/initramfs-3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64.img
running depmod for 3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64
creating initrd: /sbin/dracut -f /boot/initramfs-3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64.img
3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64
found /boot/initramfs-3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64.img and using it with grubby
updating 3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64 from /boot/grub/grub.conf
updating 3.1.5-6.fc16.x86_64 from /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
grubby fatal error: unable to find a suitable template
grubby: doing this would leave no kernel entries. Not writing out new config.
/etc/grub2-efi.cfg does not exist, not running grubby
/etc/lilo.conf does not exist, not running grubby
does not exist, not setting up
/etc/extlinux.conf does not exist, not running grubby

The file
ls -l /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 0 Oct 26 21:19 /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

is empty. Should it just be removed or grub.conf should be removed?

ls -l /boot/grub/grub.conf
-rw-------. 1 root root 1372 Dec 18 12:00 /boot/grub/grub.conf

the grub.conf is above
