You need the package 'kernel-source' installed to
build the drivers. 
I'd tend to ignore some of those that replied (They
got it sort of 
wrong)

I guess I really didn't make myself clear. When I did
rpm -qa |grep kernel-source
I got back that the rpm WAS installed.
Now, where does it get placed? I thought it was in
/usr/src/linux.xxxxx
