    Nah, they're great.  Don't get an off-brand card; get one that comes
in an Nvidia box ensures they're not just using the chipset in some way
that causes problems.

    Let me put it this way: if I wanted to build a workstation, I'd be
spec'ing an Nvidia GeForce card for it.  It's 2D is fantastic, and it's
3D is great for the money. (And I've paid a lot of money for video cards
in the past.)

    If you'll specify you want X to be loaded at installtime, you can
always ssh into the box and run those X apps if you stil want to.  Just
"redhat-config-network &" and you're on your way.
