One other thing.. Since I just tried out my DSL last night.. make sure
that
your firewall's off or is configured 'right'. My shorewall config had to
be
changed to accomodate it.


Thanks for all the help here but I got it working again. I had to start
from scratch. Deleted everything from network configuration. I added my
nic (eth0) then did the dsl thing (user name and password for my isp).
But the odd thing here with Fedora Core, you have to give your ISL a
different nickname instead of, lets say my isp's name (Sympatico for
arguments sake) I used ppp0 as the nickname and all is well and I can
connect to the internet read my email everything. Thanks again
