Have a look at this page:-

It'll give you all the essential information that you need.
I'd hazard a guess that you have one harddrive with linux and windows on
it, so you'd have to add this line into that file and also create the file
for the mountpoint - mine is called msdos but it doesn't matter what you
call it as long as they are the same. In the case illustrated you'd create a
folder in /mnt/dos called c and then you'll be able to see all your windows
files in that.
/dev/hda1 /mnt/dos/c msdos defaults 0 0
