OK, no problem...

I don't know why... but I do know that RedHat 9, and I'm assuming Fedora, will not install into VMware from the CDs.

The work around is to install from disk based ISOs.

1. In VMWare, you can assign the CD-ROM drive to an ISO image
2. Click the VMWare image name, right-click and choose "Edit..."
3. Click on the CD-ROM drive icon.
4. Choose "Use ISO Image" and browse to choose the image.

As a note, you can install from CDs 1 and 3, you really only need the ISO for disk2, in case you need to download again.

If you chooses to use all 3 ISO's, you'll have to point to the ISO again for each disk change.

Hope this helps, Let me know if you want more detailed assistance.
