wget with ftp works here... I have to use the --passive-ftp switch
though.

wget --passive-ftp ftp://user:password@host.com/file.blah

I realize that generic unix questions are a bit OT but I could use some
help. Apparently, wget's username/password authentication is limited to
HTTP. Is there a similar client that will do this for FTP or should I
just script the function (I have a recurring download job that I want to
Cron)?
