Select packages in install

I have to admit I've always wondered about that myself (though I usually do
"everything" installs unless I'm really short of drive space)... why is the
sum of the parts less than the whole (ie. why does selecting everything
manually get you less than selecting "everything" :-)  It would make far
more sense to have all of the packages available for selection with
"everything" simply being a shortcut to selecting them all, rather than "the
way you get the packages that aren't listed".  

It would also be spiffy if the "everything" option was at the top of the
list, instead of wayyyyyyyy down at the bottom.  Then again I also wish they
hadn't removed fdisk as a partitioning option in the installer :-)
