I use procmail scripts in my home directory on the server. For example:

PATH= /usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail
LOGFILE=$HOME/tmp/procmail.log
VERBOSE=no
COMSAT=no
SENDMAIL=/usr/bin/faces.sendmail
