cannot install KDE only workstation more info

ok i found a solution at least for Gnome (havent tried for KDE) with the
system. Although I now think its not the system but the monitor (Compaq
S710).
When booting cd 1 I changed the resolution options to 1024x768. And all 3
cd's installed.
