Drawers do not work in new Gnome

Hello

In order to save screen space I made use of drawers with launchers for my
most used apps and scripts. They worked und RH9, but under FC1 and the new
Gnome they refuse to work.
I can make new drawers and add launchers to them, but after starting a
launcher (!) it becomes inactive ever after. What is the problem with these
drawers?
