Is this list on a newsgroup?

I'd love to see this on a newsgroup publicly.  I just signed up yesterday
and it's very hard to sift thru the email to read responses and sometimes
not see the whole thread to know what's going on.  How can this be attained?
(and I wouldn't want Yahoo either)

No problem to me to have it as a newsgroup, but please, no Yahoo.

Intrusive ads, uncertain service.  

I suspect that the current high volume will drop off with time, 
and the list will become more manageable.
