Installing / uninstalling packages

This is probably mentioned before (if so, sorry),
but I seem to encounter problems when installing new packages.

For example: I wanted to remove Gnome Toaster and install X Roast.
The uninstall went flawless, but when the install started, I got a "an error occured"-message and the installer exits.
When I install the X Roast rpm myself, no problems...

Any idea how this can happen???
