xDSL connection

Hi all.  I'm having trouble with my xDSL connection which i set up using the 
wizard.  At first it didn't work at all, and then I went into Bugzilla 
through RedHat and found the 'fix' and changed the /etc/init.d/network file 
accordingly.  Now, when I startup and shutdown it marks off the connection 
as being ok, but after logging in there is no internet connection present.  
Has anyone had something similiar happen, or, better yet, know how to fix 
it?
