stoned beaver for athlon?

I would like to try the 2.6 kernel, but I'm afraid about a lot of 
things... and I want to know which king of problems may I expect by 
installing these package.... does anyone can tell me?

I think my nvidia drivers and ntfs module, for example, will not work, 
right something more?
