Ah, I didn't realise that. Still, it's strange that RH9's and SuSE 9.0's
SMP kernels froze on startup, but the UP kernel loaded OK. Must have
been some other software that barfed.

Never mind, I'm happy with Fedora now, and so far I've found very few
problems with it.
