Problem with DHCP, /etc/hosts and GNOME

Replying to myself again.

I have found out where the problem came from:

if you set your hostname to localhost is the DNS tab in
system-config-network, it will override it using the DHCP server's
hostname.

But if you set the hostname to anything else in the DNS tab, it will
keep it.
