FC2 hangs during install loading megaraid driver on Intel MB440LX server

I have a PII 300MHZ MB440LX server with 5 SCSI hard drives but no hardware raid controller. RH8 and RH9 installed on this server with no problems. When I try installing FC2, after pressing enter at the boot: prompt, a box appears entitled "Loading SCSI drivers" and inside it says "Loading megaraid driver" and that is as far as I get. The install does not continue past this point. I would assume that the megaraid driver is being loaded because FC2 thinks my server has a hardware raid controller, but that is not the case. I tried installing with the "raid=noautodetect" option, and auto detect was disabled, but the same problem occurred. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
