k3b and fc2

I noticed under the device settings in k3b, it is set to no next to
write CDs under the CD/DVD writer, though it says yes next to writing
CD/RWs, DVD-R(W)s, and DVD+R(W)s.

I have an LG CD/DVD writer, GSA-4160B. It is also supposed to write CDs.

Any ideas?
