I recently purchased an LG CD/DVD writer, model GSA-4160B. I have been
having an issue trying to write CDs on this device using fc2.
When I pop in a blank CDR, the nautilus CD creator comes up, and I am
able to drag files onto the window and write to the CDR successfully.
When I use cdrecord, the writing process fails. When I type in cdrecord
-checkdrive, I get the following:

I have used k3b, and that also generates errors when I try to write to
CDRs.
Is this a software or hardware issue? I am leaning towards it being a
software issue as I was able to burn a CD with nautilus.
I appreciate any help!!
Thanks!
Chris
