PERC4e/Si driver support for FC2

Hi guys,
I thought I had it working, by following this instruction,

but it looks like now I need to recompile fhe kernel with the
Megaraid2 support just so that I can boot the install disk and install
FC2 on a Dell 1850, but I have no idea how to go about it, pointers
and hints please!!! (really need step-by-step howto)
