Security updates are too slow or none existant

I also don't want Fedora to die; the non-"E" Red Hat Linux was a great
distro and it'd be a shame for that to just collapse. Keeping Fedora as more
than a toy (and a dangerous toy, at that) means that security updates
*should* be a priority.
