SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<smitty at b-dub.org>:
    host cosmo.b-dub.org [24.44.190.85]: 554 <smitty at b-dub.org>:
    Relay access denied
Which I take to mean the reject came from your machine as it was "after
RCPT"
I could be wrong I not an expert.
Re Postmaster (There are others) it is the account anyone with a problem
should be able to send mail to and unless you chose to set up a user of
postmaster and log on to the collect the mail you would need to aliases
it to your normal account. E.G. smitty@ gives an error message I send
message to postmaster@ you get the message sort smitty's account out and
he gets his mail on the second attempt and is none th wiser when he gets
back for an extended lunch (ideal world situation ;-) )
You probably should make sure that you know where root messages go to
when you get the rest sorted.
I think you complicated it a bit by the machine being cosmo.b-dub.org
and not plain b-dub.org but I see others have offered help with that.
Which I shall note in case I need it myself one day.

I'm a sendmail user so this is about as far as I go except I'm happy to
send further test mails if required.
I reckon with the right people on the list tonight you might get it
sorted today
 regards Roger
