Personally, I'd drop all that. Let's try
"user,sync,umask=0,noauto,quiet,noauto"
If you don't do that, doing
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbkey

Disk issues?
I seriously suggest, mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbkey and seeing it
work. Some of the options there look like they're cruft.
