Veritas NetBackup / jvm / libc.so.6

this may be a shot in the dark, but i ran into a similar problem
installing oracle on fedora[1].  you can try and preload this
libcwait.so:

you may also find LD_LINUX_KERNEL=2.4.19 useful.
