New kernel 2.4.22-1.2713 crashes, has difficulty installing

funky. looks like something went wrong with the initrd creation.
Could be a knock-on effect of the buggered aacraid module.

As time permits. That and the 'random SMP hang' bug are at the
top of my todo for fc1.
