Hey Achille, interesting stuff but....
Setting loglevel to debug as you proposed I get :

D [20/Feb/2004:10:48:41 -0500] [Job 51] Process dieing with "The

So I guess there I also have some sort of renderer problem.  No idea 
what to do though :-(  You got something similar?

And at the begining of the log, I get :
