alsa rpm?

I did a 'yum install alsa-driver'. It installed the driver and updated
lib and utils but made no mention of kernel-module-alsa.
So I did 'yum install kernel-module-alsa, but it found no match. Could
it be that this module is already in the kernal? Still no sound.
