Menu delay

Hi,

FC1, KDE 3.2, kernel 2.4.22-1.2166.nptl.

Is it just me, or is everyone seeing a rather annoying delay between the time 
you point to an icon or menu choice and the time in which it becomes 
available to click?

For example, I currently have 5 applications open.  In order to change from 
one to the other, I point to a non-active one, and have to wait until the 
tool-tip displays before I can click it to bring it to the front.  If I click 
too soon, nothing happens.

I'm also having trouble dragging and linking choices from the K Menu to the 
desktop.  I think it's the same delay thing going on.
