Hard disk issues

I don't know anything about the smartd, but I noticed your two disks 
were /dev/sda and /dev/sdb.  According to your logs, it looks like 
smartd is trying to open up /dev/hda.  Try changing the the following 
line in /etc/smartd.conf:

/dev/hda -H -m root at localhost.localdomain

to

/dev/sda -H -m root at localhost.localdomain
/dev/sdb -H -m root at localhost.localdomain
