APT / YUM / RHN-up2date

Forgive my naiveté on this subject but since there seems to be multiple ways
available to skin the "keeping your system up to date" cat...  I was
wondering what the pros/cons of each were?  Or do they need to be used in
concert with each other?  Or is one of them better than the others?
