modprobe problems

Hello,

I have been wrestling with a boat load of modprobe problems and I need 
to know how to fix it.  It frequently keeps Fedora from booting completely.

I get the Can't locate module char-major-10-104 during the Intel IA32 
Microcode update.
I also get a bunch of Can't locate module block-major-67-71 and 128-135

Any clues to why I get this?

Also my mouse stopped working and kudzu doesn't seem to want it to come 
back.

Any clues on that one?
