sendmail won't read config files

Hi,
 I installed Fedora fine, but when I boot sendmail will not load because it 
cannot load 'trusted-users', and a couple of others from /etc/mail. These 
files all exist and the permissions are -rw-r--r--. There is an error message 
about 'Worldwide permissions.
How can I recify this?
