The short names are missing. This is especially bad for the localhost
entry. Actually localhost is not resolvable and causes different
problems. If you don't use a short name for your private IP host then
the missing short name should be no problem for that. A proper hosts
file looks like this:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.0.2 serendipity.dogma.lan serendipity
