nvidia driver causes enemy-territory to flicker

The new 1.0-6106 nvidia driver causes wolfenstein enemy-territoy to 
flicker thus making it impossible to control or play. I have not noticed 
any problems with other 3d games such as chromiom, bzflag, vendetta, 
tuxracer. Has anyone else had this problem?
This is on a fedora core 2 system.
