Can't install kernel 2.6.5-1.435.2.3

I encountered the same problem. I'm not sure how the /sbin/nash-i386
link came into being. I worked arround it with reinstalling mkinitrd
rpm

rpm --replacepkgs -Uvh mkinitrd...rpm
