Try this:
Go to your mozilla installation directory,
# cd plugins
and make a symlink
# ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_04/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so libjavaplugin_oji.so
assuming you got java installed in /usr/java/....
